12/14 12 Dates 'til Christmas Part Un

4:18 AM

So my boyfriend and I decided to pick up on a new tradition. We called it the 12 dates til Christmas, which is exactly what the name is. We counted 12 days until Christmas, then we get 6 days each to plan a special day for the both of us. Out 12 dates started last Friday, 12/14.

He started the tradition with a really nice plan. First we went to get a haircut together at these Korean salon inside a Korean marketplace. He also wanted to go to the city to see the light and to go to the winter wonderfest happening at Navy Pier. It was such a good plan, we invited a couple of friends to join us as well, but plans changed in the middle of the day. We went to the mall to help his mom finish her Christmas list. He was really bummed about the change of plans, but he managed to turn it all around by making use of the time we were spending at the mall and making it a shopping day. Mind you the day prior to this was also shopping day, surprisingly, so there's going to be a few more items from that day. So, we had lunch with his mom at Cheesecake factory. If you like mango, get the mango freeze.I forgot the name but it's something like that.

I was so excited shopping although I had to keep on checking on my boyfriend to see how he was doing. He was still kind of down because of us not being able to go to the city.we did figure out though that we'd move it down our list, so there's definitely going to be a city adventure post. Oh and it was xbox night after the whole crazy mall experience, so I made Jerrold open one of his presents already. I got his the third of the dance central games. It was a lot of fun.

This 12 date tradition is so exciting because it's making us think more creative ways to date. It's a lot of fun. You guys should try little creative, inexpensive dates as well. I'll try to have more post about these too, so we can help each other out.

Bonus pictures of us creating our 12 dates list and the list itself. Enjoy. :)
