2/8 Big Sister, Big Party

For my fake big sister's birthday we decided to go to P.F. Changs. I've only been there once and it's been a while, so I really didn't mind. We had another option, I think it was Cooper's Hawk, but we were on a budget so we just stuck to P.F. Changs since it was closer and more affordable. They're plates are around $15-$20, so it wasn't anything crazy. The plates were so good though. I got the egg drop soup and salt and pepper prawns. I loved them. I'm a big fan of both, though I've never tried it here. I always end up getting some variation of this at some other Chinese restaurant. There was so much more added to the egg drop soup with the P.F. Chang's dish compared to a regular Chinese restaurants.

This was the dish the birthday girl and her date's plate.

My boyfriend chose to stick with a favorite Shrimp and Walnut. It had just the right amount of sauce in it in my opinion. We for sure had shrimp over load that night.

The birthday girl got her free Tiramisu. It was really good. The rum wasn't too much; it was just right. With the cream blending the rum with the cocoa, the flavors just explode in your mouth. It was so good.

We ended the night with three hours of karaoke. I mean what Filipino birthday party is complete without one, right?

It was a lot of fun. I can't wait for my birthday. LOL.

'Til the next adventure,
D
