Adventure: New York Day 2

3:10 PM

For Day 2 in New York, we visited the famous Kleinfeld where we saw an array of beautiful wedding dresses. It's the kind of place every girl dreams to go to and find the one dress they want to tear up to and wear on her wedding day. It was very dreamy inside. A bit smaller than what the camera makes it seem, but it was a sight to see. Every single corner just had a great surprise. They even had their own invitation corner.

In the basement is where they dedicated their accessories shop where designer shoes are encased in glass cabinets. They also have a men's section which at the time was a bit on the rough side. It was a really nice place to visit; just make sure you bring a big fat check.

After that, we went to a PR agency called Full Picture. In here was where I told myself that I want to live in New York, that it is possible and that I will do it. In here I started to build my dreams of living in New York. The people in the agency were so nice, especially one of the girls that went to school at AI as well. She was very helpful and she went through all the steps she went through to get to where she is now. Maybe that's why I thought it was possible.

The next place we went to was the 9/11 memorial. I really have nothing to say about the place, not out of disrespect, but it just boggles my mind why that event was necessary in our lives. I am unable to put the pieces together on how, in a blink of an eye, a great number of people left their loved ones. I need to stop myself here because I'm turning this into a sob fest post.

We went to the New York harbor last with the hopes of seeing Lady Liberty, but sadly we missed the last boat tour. My boyfriend and I promised we'd go back to see her up close, so I'm looking forward to that!

We also went to the MET that night to watch this show I don't even know the name of. I know it supposed to be a good experience to add to your life, but I guess I'm not that girl that enjoys that. It was a busy day for us, but it was  a lot of fun.
