Keeping Up with the...New Year Resolutions

1:51 PM

The Kardashians aren't the only things you should be keeping up with this year. (If you're into that sort of thing) You made a promise to yourself that you will change or add things in your life. Why do we let these promises got by the end of January. I have compile a list of effective tips to keeping that new year's resolution true the whole year (or maybe more).

I have chosen some of the most common things that appear on people's resolution list every year. This are better health/lose weight, save money and travel.

Better Health/Lose Weight
The trick to keep up with resolution like these is to turn it into a habit, a lifestyle change if you may. Start with the little things. Make sure you drink 8 glasses of water a day. Drink before you eat as well. This not only is good for your body, it will also make you feel less hungry. They say it takes 30 day to turn something into a habit, so make sure you stay true to this simple task for 30 days.

Try this:
Have 30 post-it tabs in a poster board by your door. Every time you accomplish a goal of drinking more water or working out pull one tab. You will see less and less tab on your posterboard as you go further and further within the month of following through with your will be exciting to see the tabs lesson by the door and at the same time you are slowly making your way into making health the living a habit or lifestyle rather than something to cross off your to do list.

Saving Money
This is one of those resolutions that you see every year and everyone' list. So how do you save that money? I have a video where I talk about some tips and pointers on saving money. In this video I talk about creating spreadsheets for your expenses and tracking your money. I also talk about how to put money aside for your savings.

Consider this: have you ever traveled in your own city? Have you ever even tourist of your own town?Don't under estimate the places that are close to you. There are a lot of hidden gems that you can discover within your own town or city. On a budget? There's a lot of free things to do with some research. If you're in the Chicago area, I have created a Pinterest board of free things that you can do in our city. This will give you some ideas on how to make the most out of traveling for free.

Every small step counts. As long as you're doing something to reach your goal, it matters. After all, it is better to do a lot of small things then to never do anything because it seems to be too big or too far to reach.

I hope this helps you in maintaining and keeping up with your 2015 years resolutions. If you have more tips to share with us please don't hesitate to leave it in the comment section below or email us
