Hello readers! I am excited to share to you a new song from Tori Kelly; this song is called “Unbreakable Smile”. Kelly first debuted this song from a Vevo Live event and this song will be one of the tracks in her upcoming album, Unbreakable Smile.
First of all, the rhythm of the song has a “feel good” vibe to it. If you are feeling down for something, definitely listen to this song, it will turn your day around. The intro of the song started off soft but with a very strong line “you’re not breaking me”. Right from the intro, listeners already know what this song is about. The lyrics is about Kelly ignoring what other people say about fame and how she just wants to live the life she wants by sharing her music and inspiring others.
The tune and melody of the song are never dull. Although not shying away from Kelly’s style, “Unbreakable Smile” had a little twist to it when she showcased her rapping skills in this song and proved that words do not have to rhyme to make a rap song sound good. Although Kelly’s rapping is not as fast as Eminem, the song does display Kelly’s different talents.
Kelly has been sharing the track listing for her upcoming album, and all of us from Not A Size Zero are very excited for this album. We all hope that it would be as good as her two EPs. To know more about Tori Kelly, be sure to follow her on her Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, as she updates that as often as she could.
UPDATE: As of April 28, 2015, Kelly uploaded her official music video for this song (http://youtu.be/CVOvhKCYKAc). I felt like she could have been a little more creative with her music video than just singing in front of a camera in a black background. However, hearing the studio version of the song is awesome, too. The back vocals made the song complete and better.

Rating: 4/5
