July 2015 Favorites

Choosing favorites was really hard because, I wanted to try a lot of different products and play with them so I can tell you guys more about them. Even if that’s true, I still managed to round up the items I used more than other in the past month.

Don't forget to check out the video above. :)
Skin care

One of the only skin care product that was constant in my routines was my Clarisonic Mia 2. I didn’t want to add a facial wash because I’m in the middle of trying a new one out and I wanted to make sure I loved it before I recommended it to my readers and views. The Clarisonic Mia 2 is tried and tested. It really improves your skin game.  You really feel the difference when you wash with just your hands and when you wash with a Clarisonic. It really cleans deep. I even notice it minimizes the number of blackheads and whiteheads present on my face. (Gross, I know.)
The Clarisonic is quite expensive, but I think it’s a great investment for your skin. The price  ranges from $99.00 to $149.00 depending on which Clarisonic you get. Just be warned that the charging time for the Clarisonic can take forever and a day.
I also wanted to metion the two H2O products that I have been enjoying for the past month, the H20 Sea Salt Body Butter, $20.00 () and Hand Cream, $5.00 (Travel Size). I did a separate review for both these products along with other in a different post, which you can find here.
The last skin care product that I want to share is the sunscreen I've been using for about two months now. It's the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock, $7.47. It feels like you're not wearing anything on your skin. It's not sticky or greasy and it instantly dries one supplied onto your skin.

Make Up

The majority of my July favorite comes from the make up section. I’ve been playing around with make up a lot more recently. I have also been trying to be more adventurous when it comes to looks.

The first one I want to talk about is the L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Liquid Makeup - Sand Beige $6.99. As it says on the bottle, the product is very blend able. The coverage is medium, but is build-able to be full without looking cake-y. The finish is dewy and radiant.
I mentioned that I use a beauty blender when applying the Loreal True Match. I don't own the orginal beauty blender yet, but I plan to get one, so I can compare it to the other ones I've been using. One of them is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge Set. They're super affordable and they work really well. I got mine from Ulta for only $10.99 for 2 beauty blenders. What a deal right? Cleaning the sponge takes quite a while, but it does get cleaned.

My next favorite is one that I got from my ipsy bag last June and I've been using it ever since I got it. It's the it Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil, $12.00. It's so travel friendly and easy to use as well. I'm so sad though because my spoolie brush fell off when I was using it one day. According to the packaging it's in the universal color. It matched me well, but I also have dark hair, so that may be why.
Since we're on the subject of eyes, my next favorite in Urban Decay's Subverion Lash Primer, $20.00. This product makes any mascara that I use look extremely long and dramatic, just how I like my lashes.

Concealers has been more of a staple when it comes to the everyday make up. At lease for me it has been for me. I've been constantly using my Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard, $29.00 as soon as I got it from Sephora.  I couldn't stop using it. The coverage is amazing, but it's not too thick that it looks cake-y under your eyes.

Kat Von D's Ink Liner in Trooper, $19.00 is another product I was constantly grabbing from my make up stash. I love how pigmented and lack the liquid liner is. I also love how pointy and the find the felt tip was, which gives you a very precise line.

Lippie of the month:

For the lipstick of the month I chose MAC's Naked Proof unfortunately this is not for individual sale, because I got this as a set, but nonetheless it's one of the best nude colors I've tried. I have a link to something similar from MAC as well. The shades Call the Hair Dresser and Royally Riotous are super similar.
