Fashion: First Timer Date

9:00 AM

Last Monday, my boyfriend and I decided that we would have "date day" and visit the Shedd Aquarium. We both have never been to Shedd and we were due for a date adventure, so what better way to do date day than a free trip to the Shedd Aquarium. Yes! FREE. $0. Shedd gives free admissions to Illinois Residents every Monday of the month of September.

Since we don't go to the city often, we made sure to make the most out of this day. We started the day off with breakfast at the Nutella Cafe, which to be honest, I felt like it was a bit of a let down. I've been looking forward to getting to experience this place, but the food was only ok in my opinion.

We were able to go through pretty much most of the exhibits Shedd had to offer. There was a show that we could have gone to, but we wanted to be home before it got too late, so we had to skip that. We'll have a video up in the He and She TV channel on Youtube.

The last thing we did was lunch. Oddly enough, I had the hankering for some good salmon, so we got some poké at Poke Poké. This place was very Instagrammable and the food was great! It was definitely a great find and I loved the vibe in the restaurant.

Overall, it was a great day off. I'm happy I got to spend it with my boyfriend and we were able to do something fairly cheap.
