Creative Director and Founder

Hello everyone! It's me Denise. Welcome to Not A Size Zero. I'm glad you're here. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am the eldest of four children. I have 2 sisters and a baby brother, although at this rate, he's no longer a baby. I was born and raised in the Philippines, so moving her was a very drastic change. I have a Boston Terrier named Odie that I love dearly and like any other person in my generation, I wish to travel...a lot. I love the sense of adventure or doing something of my time. I also love food so much. I'm a marketer, blogger and Digital Beauty Editor by day. I work for an amazing firm in Chicago. Apart form Not A Size Zero, I am a part of Halfstack Magazine as their Digital Beauty Editor. It's amazing!

I'm a firm believer of change and improvement. I want to be able to look at the myself one day and say that I have changed a lot from how I was before, in a good way. It's a form of accomplishment if you think about it. You are the biggest project you'll ever have. I enjoy this idea. It keeps me busy and always wanting to learn and discover new things. I hope to help my readers through my posts whether it be a fashion dilemma or a life crisis.

The Blog

This blog started of as a place for me to record my adventures I planned to have on the summer of 2012. I made myself a list of things to do and accomplish for that summer. I was lucky enough to have friends to help me add and cross off things on my list. The blog then blossomed into a place where I can share my adventures, feelings, thoughts, life experiences and advices for those of you who have fashion dilemmas, life problems and stuff in between. The blog has become a big sister to some of the readers who shared their stories and asked for advice through e-mail, and I love that. I love the fact that I'm having fun and helping others in the process.

I'm always learning something new to add to the blog, so forgive me if its still a working progress. I hope the success of the site continues and the number of readers and people who share their stories grow. In this site I want to create a place where people can call me their friend or big sister; a place where we learn from each other whether it be what to wear, how to decorate your house, or solving life problems.

I hope you enjoy this blog. Thanks for visiting.
